The eleventh season of the marquee dance show with the title Let’s Dance: The Best of the Best started on Sunday, March 8. On the dance floor in the sixth round on April 12, Ján Koleník, Jakub Jablonský, Kristián Baran, Nela Pocisková, Gabika Marcinková and Zuzana Porubjaková performed. They were joined by the eliminated stars of the show.
The live broadcast full of dance legends was watched in Incheba by well-known faces from Markíza and many other invited guests. Telerána presenter Kvetka Horváthová spoke to singer Vanessa Šarközi for Koktejl.sk. She had her good friend Janka Hospodárová in the show, who after being eliminated returned to the dance floor in the sixth round dedicated to collections and charitable purposes.
Kvetka Horváthová looked elegant on the live broadcast and literally shone in a white costume. To what does it owe its ever-fresh appearance? She revealed to the cocktail party that her preparations were quick because she was a little late.
“The make-up lasted about half an hour. So I rested a bit and slept and got ready for tonight. I’ll admit that I’m already at half past nine, and it’s probably also because I’m broadcasting Telerán, so I’m used to slowly getting ready for bed at half past nine. And this only starts at half past eight! I was wondering if I could paint eyes on my eyelids – that when it comes to me, I’ll be sleeping, people would think I’m watching,” said the mischievously seasoned presenter.
She herself has not yet danced in Let’s Dance. If the offer came, would she say yes? “NO,” she entertained with her concise and clear opinion.
“I’m not afraid to admit it publicly – I’m not good at it. My movement memory is as weak as tea. I don’t remember many steps and I don’t feel like I move gracefully. I prefer to leave it to those who have it in their blood, have a nice posture and look good. I don’t know that. But I like to dance, the audience at Telerán can see that when something starts playing, it just tickles me, it grabs me, but it’s not like I’m going to present myself somewhere with it. That would be a bit of a “crap”, she explained her decision.
We recently had Easter. How did she look with her? “We don’t experience it like that anymore. The fact that Pauli (daughter) was 18 now, that she is already a big girl. When she was little, of course there were slaps, splashes, jumps, screams, but they weren’t buckets of cold water and the like. Now it is more symbolic that my husband, he is always happy to surprise us with a glass of warm water in the face and then with such a small bowl to keep us healthy” added the presenter.
Her plans for the summer look more adventurous. “We are going to Croatia by car. We always go to one place and from there we do trips down to Italy. We will go again this year and should see Florence, which I am really looking forward to.” revealed Kvetka Horváthová at the end.
