Xinhuanet, part of the Chinese state news agency Xinhua, wants to invest 1.1 billion yuan (140 million euros) in an AI agent that will spread the thoughts of President Xi Jinping. The project is called “Xinhua Yudian,” which means “Xinhua Lexicon,” and will serve as an “intelligent agent” to “learn, explore and share Xi Jinping’s thoughts on Chinese-style socialism for a new era,” according to a report from the news agency Reuters.
