The forest fire in Carinthia’s Lesachtal did not spread any further on Sunday night. The Hermagor district fire brigade command announced on the fourth day of the fire that the situation had eased somewhat. The firefighting teams were increased to 360 firefighters from 36 fire departments. 60 people from the disaster relief service from the Spittal an der Drau district are also on site. The firefighting operation was supported by seven helicopters.
