Dušana Pašek († 37) many people remember him as an eternally smiling person and a great optimist. The news from March 14, 1998 about the tragic death of the then president of the Slovak Ice Hockey Association (SZĽH), silver medalist from the 1984 Olympics in Sarajevo and world champion from 1985, surprised everyone even more.
If not for the tragedy, which was officially concluded as a suicide, Dušan Pašek would have lived to be 65 years old last September 7. His body was found with a shot through the head in the office at Slovan Stadium. He left several farewell letters to those closest to him.
The legendary hockey player, but also the tenacious hockey manager, was married twice. He had a daughter Alexandra and a son Dušan from his first marriage, and a son Dominik from his second.
Dominika’s mother is former model Ľubica Pašeková. In the past, she stated that the older her son gets, the more he reminds her of her late husband. She confirmed her words with the latest photo of her son. It is impossible not to notice the great resemblance between Dominik and the hockey star. Pašeková showed off the image on the occasion of the young man’s life anniversary.
