He says that, given the DC’s lack of structure and few resources, he committed to the party in raising funds to make his candidacy viable. “Today, campaigning is cheaper with social media,” said the businessman. The party launched the presidential pre-candidacy of former minister Aldo Rebelo.
Garcia also expects to be invited to the debates and express his criticisms of Moro, despite his party not having the legal minimum number of representatives in Congress to have the automatic right to participate.
“My intention is not to be governor of Paraná, because I know the chances are low. [governador] Ratinho Júnior has an 80% approval rating, and his candidate will start very well, for example,” said Garcia.
