Criminal prosecution for a particularly serious crime of attempted murder was initiated by the police in the Saturday (April 25) case of an injured man in Trebišov. “The person suspected of this act was detained by the police on the spot and placed in a police detention cell,” informed Košice regional police spokeswoman Jana Illésová.
The police were sent on Saturday evening to check the notification according to which he was supposed to found an injured man in front of one of the residential buildings in Trebišov. According to the police, he suffered injuries in the chest area caused by a so far unidentified object. The case was taken over by an investigator from the criminal police department.
“Necessary procedural actions continue to be carried out with the suspect. Due to the ongoing investigation, it is currently not possible to provide more detailed information,” said Illésová.
