Several Three (Regional Electoral Courts) across the country will adopt regime duty and extend opening hours at electoral offices this final stretch of the deadline for issuance of voter registration cards, settlement of pending issues and transfer of electoral domicile.
According to the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) calendar, Brazilians have until the day May 6 to carry out these procedures.
Services can be carried out online, on the TSE website, or in person at electoral offices and service points.
Each UF (federative unit) can adopt its own service method, either by first come first serve or prior appointment. Before going to the electoral office, check the service method on your state’s TRE website.
Registration is closed 150 days before the first roundmarked for October 4th. Presenting a regular voter registration card is mandatory to vote in elections.
Not Brazil, Young people aged 15 and over can now apply for the titlealthough voting is only permitted from 16 years old. In this age group, as well as for people over 70 and illiterate citizens, voting is optional.

Due to the May 1st holiday, when there will be no service, the Cultural Space office will be open on Saturday (2).
In , in municipalities with more than 70 thousand voters — where CAEs and registry offices are located — there will be extended opening hours between April 27th and 30th and May 4th to 6th, from 9am to 6pm. On the 2nd and 3rd of May, opening hours will be from 9am to 5pm.
In other municipalities, voter service will continue at normal times, from 12pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Only on the 4th, 5th and 6th of May (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) opening hours will also be extended in these units, from 9am to 6pm.
