Higgins defeats O’Sullivan at the Snooker World Championships with an epic comeback

John Higgins reached the quarter-finals of the World Snooker Championship in spectacular fashion. The Scot beat seven-time world champion Ronnie O’Sullivan 13-12 in a memorable game on Monday afternoon, although Higgins had already trailed 3-8 and 4-9 at the weekend. O’Sullivan misses the chance of a historic eighth World Cup title, Higgins will meet Neil Robertson or Chris Wakelin in the quarter-finals on his mission to his fifth World Cup crown.
