Throughout Slovakia, there is a threat of frost during the next night and morning, which can damage the vegetation. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Research (SHMÚ) informs about this in the issued first level warning.
“From midnight to 07:30 the temperature can locally drop to minus one to minus five degrees Celsius,” specified the meteorologists. They pointed out that the expected frost is not rare in the given time of year and area, but it can damage the vegetation. They warn of the same risk in the case of the night from Wednesday (April 29) to Thursday (April 30).
