11-year-old Ali Ghassan Nader has already been buried; the bodies of the boy’s parents have not yet been found
Bilal Nader, uncle of the Brazilian boy killed after Israeli attacks in Lebanon, said on Monday (April 27, 2026) that the body of his nephew, Ali Ghassan Nader, has already been buried, but the bodies of his parents, Brazilian Manal Jaafar and Lebanese Ghassan Nader, have not yet been found. The statement was given in an interview with TV Globo.
According to him, the family home “turned to pieces” with the attack. Nader stated that the family members no longer lived in the bombed residence and that they had returned to remove belongings.
“As there was a truce, they stopped attacking, they went to the city where their house is to take a look at the house. Then they looked at everything, had breakfast, were preparing the suitcase and the things they were going to take away”he stated.
