According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Ukraine obtained specific documents from the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, in which the Russian army itself admits that it cannot fulfill the tasks set by Moscow. Zelensky reported this on the X network after a meeting with the head of Ukraine’s foreign intelligence service Oleh Ivashchenko, writes TASR. Despite the alleged problems, according to Zelensky, the Russian political leadership is planning further offensive operations and is preparing to deploy additional troops to Ukraine, including through mobilization on the territory of Russia.
According to Zelensky, the Ukrainian army continues to weaken the offensive potential of the Russian forces, and its task is to increase the rate of irreparable losses caused to the enemy. They already account for 60 percent of all losses on the Russian side, the president said in a post, in which he also called for the intensified deployment of drones along the front line and the expansion of sanctions against Russian arms production and the oil sector.
“We will also inform our partners about how the preparation of plans for operations against NATO countries continues in Moscow, as well as about attempts to involve Belarus more in the fulfillment of Russian goals,” wrote on X. Kiev recently warned that Russia may again try to draw Belarus into its war against Ukraine. According to Zelensky, Belarus is already building roads towards Ukrainian territory and preparing artillery positions in the border areas.
