The city of had a drop in robberies and thefts in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period in 2025, according to data from the SSP (Secretariat of Public Security).
Between January and March, 22,919 robberies were recorded, compared to 26,756 cases last year, a reduction of 14%. And theft incidents fell from 61,829 to 61,009, equivalent to 1.3%, in the capital.
