Research also shows that 39% of voters say they disapprove of the PSD governor’s management
A Quaest survey released this Thursday (April 30, 2026) shows that 51% of voters in Rio Grande do Sul approve of the governor’s (PSD) management, while 39% disapprove. Another 10% were unable to give their opinion.
Regarding the government’s assessment, 39% classify the administration as “regular”, 34% as “positive” and 24% as “negative”. Another 3% did not know how to give an opinion or did not respond. Read the research (PDF – 13 MB).
Quaest asked the following questions: “Do you approve or disapprove of the work that Eduardo Leite is doing/has done?” e “In your opinion, is Eduardo Leite creating/did a great, good, regular, bad or terrible government?”.

The Quaest survey interviewed 1,104 people aged 16 or over in 62 municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul from April 24 to 28, 2026. The margin of error is 3 percentage points, plus or minus. The confidence level of the survey is 95%. The survey is registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under number RS-03000/2026. The study cost R$225,272.25. It was paid by Banco Genial.
