US President Donald Trump said again this Thursday afternoon, the 30th, that gasoline prices will fall in the country when the war in Iran ends and that Tehran is “dying” to make a nuclear deal.
At a signing ceremony attended by reporters, Trump reiterated that Tehran cannot have nuclear weapons, but that Iran is destroyed by American and Israeli military attacks. “Drone and missile factories have suffered a significant drop in production,” he added. “The Iranian economy is collapsing. The blockage of the Strait of Hormuz is stunning. They are not getting any oil money.”
The Republican said he doesn’t know how long the Persian country “will hold out”, stressing that the US will receive Iranian nuclear material and that no one knows who Iran’s leaders are. Regarding an agreement, Trump was vague, claiming: “I don’t know if we need an agreement with Iran, maybe”.
After publishing yesterday in Truth Social that the US could reduce troops in Germany, he stated today that the same could be done with Spain and Italy. “Italy has not helped at all and Spain has been terrible”, he emphasized. According to the president, the country never needed help in relation to Iran, but wanted to test the loyalty of its allies. “They use the Strait of Hormuz, we don’t.”
Trump also said that the American stock market is breaking records “even with what some call ‘war’”.
