The 2026 Concordia Awards were presented in Parliament on Thursday evening. They went to the team of the podcast series “The Peter Thiel Story”, Fritz Espenlaub, Jasmin Körber, Christian Schiffer and Klaus Uhrig in the press freedom category as well as Jürgen Klatzer and Matthias Winterer from Falter in the Human Rights category are the winners and the winner of the Concordia Prizes 2026. The honorary award in the Lifetime Achievement category was given to Astrid Zimmermann, the long-time Secretary General of the Concordia Press Club. The awards were presented in parliament at the invitation of the National Council Presidium and Federal Council President Markus Stotter.
