San Francisco/Berlin – In a joint action, the left-wing German parties SPD, Greens and Left have declared their departure from the Internet platform X. “X has descended into chaos in recent years,” said statements from the three parties. Political debates thrive on exchange, while X increasingly promotes disinformation. “That’s why we have decided across party lines to no longer use our account,” it said under the hashtag #WeLeaveX.
