The Iranian Navy announced this Monday that it has managed to get two US warships to withdraw from the area through what they have defined as a “rapid and decisive warning.”
Previously, the Iranian news agency Fars —very close to the Iranian authorities and considered semi-official— echoed the launch of two missiles by the Iranian Navy that would have hit a US warship. The Iranian Army has limited itself to indicating that “with a firm and quick warning from the Army Naval Force, the entry of US-Zionist enemy destroyers into the Strait of Hormuz area was prevented.”
