Iran claims to have hit a US destroyer with two missiles: "Quick and decisive warning"

after several announcements that once again have as the main protagonist the maritime passage that houses 20% of the flow of oil and natural gas worldwide. The Iranian Navy announced this Monday that it has managed to get two US warships to withdraw from the area through what they have defined as a “rapid and decisive warning.”

Previously, the Iranian news agency Fars —very close to the Iranian authorities and considered semi-official— echoed the launch of two missiles by the Iranian Navy that would have hit a US warship. The Iranian Army has limited itself to indicating that “with a firm and quick warning from the Army Naval Force, the entry of US-Zionist enemy destroyers into the Strait of Hormuz area was prevented.”
