The British royal family will grow again in a few months: King Charles does not hide his enthusiasm!

Britain’s Princess Eugenie, the niece of Britain’s King Charles III, has announced that she is expecting her third child. She posted the happy news on Instagram on Monday morning, sharing a photo of her sons holding an ultrasound image with the caption: “The Brooksbank baby will be born in 2026!”

Eugenie, the daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who is facing scandalous accusations of collaboration with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, has been married to Jack Brooksbank since 2018. Together they have five-year-old August and two-year-old Ernest. The expected child should be born this summer and he will be 15th in the line of succession to the British throne.

Official confirmation was also released by Buckingham Palace on the X Network: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce that they are expecting their third child, due this summer. August and Ernest are also very much looking forward to another sibling. His Majesty the King has been informed and is delighted with the news.’

The announcement came shortly after the princess returned to social media after a six-month hiatus. The day before, she shared photos of her husband and wishes for his birthday on Instagram. She captioned one of the images with a simple message: “Happy 40th birthday love.”

The couple first met in the Swiss ski resort of Verbier, where Eugenie was celebrating her father Andrew’s 50th birthday. The wedding took place on 12 October 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor and was attended by Queen Elizabeth II. The princess has recently limited her public appearances. This year, for example, she did not attend the Easter service in Windsor, which the king gave her permission to do in view of the scandal surrounding her father.
