Altach – The WAC left the relegation zone in the Bundesliga with two rounds to go. At the end of the 8th round of the qualifying group, the Carinthians achieved their second win in a row with a 4:1 (2:1) against cup finalists SCR Altach and passed the “Red Lantern” on to Blau-Weiß Linz. The Wolfsbergers have two points more in their account and only one less than Altach, WSG Tirol and GAK, who cannot be sure of their position in the relegation battle.
