The Chinese shooting star Wu Yize was crowned the second youngest snooker world champion in history in an exciting final. The only 22-year-old newcomer retained the upper hand against Briton Shaun Murphy (2005 World Cup winner) in a final game full of twists and turns at the Crucible Theater in Sheffield with 18:17 and continued the new era in snooker as the second winner in a row from China.
