Singer Britney Spears pleaded guilty for reckless driving under the influence of alcohol and drugsfollowing an arrest that occurred in March, near his home, in California.
The hearing took place Monday in Ventura County Superior Court. The artist was not present and was represented by her lawyers.
By taking the blame, Britney Spears avoided being sentenced to prison time, being, however, subject to 12 months of probation.
According to the BBC, the singer You will also have to attend a driving course under the effect of substances and pay fines and fees associated with the process.
In a statement cited by the British broadcaster, the artist’s lawyer stated that Britney Spears “took responsibility for his conduct” and highlighted that the singer “You have been implementing positive changes in your life.”
