It’s been a while coming. It took eleven years after the last edition of the exhibition series Lives and works in Vienna It would pass until people dared to shed light on their own city’s art scene again. The show took place for the very first time in 2000, at the time in the Kunsthalle am Karlsplatz. Today it also extends to the main location in the Museum Quarter and the outdoor area. There is of course also a supporting program as well as cooperation with numerous institutions in the city.
