O wage of around 111 thousand administrative workers in the sector private should rise 6.2%.

The notice of the draft ordinance was published this Tuesday in a separate section of the Labor and Employment Bulletin (BTE), cited in .

The idea is to project an increase in the level of the national minimum wage – and above the 4.6% that was agreed upon in social consultation. In gross terms, the increase will reach 87 euros per month.

O meal allowance increases by 15 cents; is 6 euros per day and will become 6,15 eurosif the proposal is fulfilled. In 2024, the technical committee proposed an increase to R$6.39 – it was never put into practice.

As the measure, if it goes ahead, will take effect on March 1st, the May salary will be paid retroactive relating to March e April.

The workers included in this proposal are not covered by collective regulation mechanisms. That is, they are excluded: cleaning workers, security guards, telephone operators, assistants, administrative and secretarial technicians, accounting, legal support, IT or human resources technicians.

The document will be subject to public consultation during 10 dias for those interested: employers and unions can present “reasoned” opposition to the proposal.

To come into force, the diploma must first be published in the Official Gazette.
