The meeting between the two leaders was scheduled to take place in March, but was rescheduled for now due to the war in Iran. Last Friday (1), they spoke briefly by phone.
The two have already met on other occasions and had conversations considered successful, unlike what happened in Trump’s meetings with other heads of state, such as South African Cyril Ramaphosa and Ukrainian Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
. In his other terms, the Brazilian was also received by George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
