Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaïl Bakaji said on Wednesday that Tehran is reviewing the American proposal and will contact Pakistan after “finalizing its views”.which acts as an intermediary for talks with the US.
President Donald Trump on Wednesday threatened Iran with renewed, more powerful attacksif he does not agree to an agreement with the United States. If he does, he says, the war will end and the Strait of Hormuz will reopen. At the same time, however, he expressed optimism that the agreement could be concluded soon.
Several media reported that the US and Iran are close to concluding a 14-point memorandum to end the war. Disputed points such as the Iranian nuclear program, the unblocking of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz or American sanctions should be the subject of later negotiations, according to them.
