Hantavirus: Suspected case on the most remote island in the world, ship on the way to the Canary Islands


Great Britain has reported a third suspected case after the two previously known cases of Hantavirus infection. According to reports, the person affected was a person who disembarked on the island of Tristan de Cunha in the South Atlantic. Quick help cannot be expected there: the British overseas territory is considered the most remote island in the world. A total of 259 people live there.
