Brussels – The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has paved the way for the use of kerosene from the USA in view of impending kerosene shortages. “A possible launch of Jet A in Europe or other parts of the world would not raise safety concerns provided the launch is managed properly,” EASA said on Friday. Jet A jet fuel is produced in the USA and is not yet approved in Europe.
