A British holidaymaker is in intensive care after falling from a hotel in Ibiza. A 24-year-old man was admitted to Can Misses Hospital after the incident at the San Antonio party resort. Medical sources said that he suffered multiple injuries, writes the newspaper.
“He’s in intensive care. He’s stable, but his condition is serious. He has multiple traumatic injuries,” said one of the sources. The name of the hotel where the incident happened has not been released and the case is being investigated by the Civil Guard, although details are currently limited. A source close to the ongoing investigation said: “At this stage it is too early to say exactly what happened. Police are still investigating.”
It is believed to be the first such case this year involving a British tourist in Ibiza. Last August, a 22-year-old British tourist was seriously injured after falling from the third floor of his hotel in San Antonio. San Antonio came into the spotlight last summer after several tourist deaths in hotel falls. the Mirror points out.
