Iran has been deceiving the US and the rest of the world for 47 years, says Donald Trump, who accuses Barack Obama of having sent Tehran “so much money that, when it arrived, the Iranian bandits had no idea what to do with it”.
The American president, Donald Trumpthis Sunday rejected Iran’s response to the United States’ latest proposal to end the war in the Middle East, in a statement made on its Truth Social platform.
“I just read the response from the so-called ‘representatives’ of Iran. I don’t like it at all. It is totally unacceptable! Thank you for your attention to this matter”, in his Truth Social, without giving further details about the refusal.
The North American head of state once again resorted to writing in letters capital lettersas he often does to emphasize his messages.
In another, published two hours earlier, Donald Trump accused Iran of being “laugh at the USA” and promised that this situation will not continue for much longer “You’ll stop laughing!“, assured the North American president.
In the same message, Trump also criticizes previous Democratic North American presidents Barack Obama e Joe Biden for having supported and benefited Iran economically.
“Iran has been deceiving the US and the rest of the world for 47 years. They make fun of our country, which has now regained its greatness, but they won’t laugh for much longer!”, he stated.
In the message, Trump listed the reasons: “The Iranians have been deceiving us, keeping us waiting, killing our people with their roadside bombs, destroying protests and recently exterminating 42,000 innocent, unarmed protesters and laughing at our country,” he wrote.
He further mentioned that “Barack Obama was not only benevolent towards the Iranians, how fantastic it was, effectively crossing over to their sideabandoning Israel and all other allies, and giving Iran a significant and very powerful new lease on life.”

All the banks in Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland were emptied — there was so much money that when it arrived, the Iranian bandits had no idea what to do with it. They had never seen money like thisand you will never see it again”, Donald Trump also stated in the message.
Iranian state media reported this Sunday that Iran transmitted its response to the United States’ latest proposal to end the war in the Middle East, through Pakistan, which is mediating.
According to a source close to the negotiations cited by the IRNA agency, “according to the proposed plan, the current phase of negotiations is focused exclusively on cessation of hostilities in the region.” ISNA, another Iranian news agency, later reported that the Iranian response focuses on “the end of the war and the maritime security“.
“O main axis of Iran’s response to the US proposal it is ‘the end of war and maritime security’ in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz”, wrote ISNA in its account on the Telegram platform.
The North American proposals were a response to a previous proposalwith 14 points, presented by Iran last week.
Tehran had previously insisted that negotiations should focus, in a first phase, on in a peace agreement and the end of the blockade in the Strait of Hormuzpostponing any negotiations on its nuclear program until a later stage.
One Pakistan-brokered ceasefire It has been in force since April 8, after the United States and Israel began attacks against Iran on February 28.
