Washington – Greenland is currently negotiating with the USA about an increased US military presence in the Arctic region. This is part of the ongoing discussions with the government in Washington, said Greenlandic Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen on Tuesday in Copenhagen. According to a BBC report, the US is seeking to establish three new bases in southern Greenland, which could potentially be declared US territory.
