This Wednesday (13), after the website Intercept Brasil revealed Flávio’s conversations with Vorcaro about the financing of , about the former president (), the PL pre-candidate admitted in a note and video that he met the then banker in December 2024 and that he asked for money for the feature film.

“It is necessary to separate the innocent from the criminals. In our case, what happened was a son, seeking private sponsorship for a private film about his own father’s story. Zero public money”, wrote the senator, in a note.

The senator said he met Vorcaro when the Bolsonaro government had already ended and there were no accusations or public suspicions about the banker.

“Contact is resumed when there is a delay in paying the sponsorship installments necessary to complete the film. I did not offer any advantages in return. I did not promote private meetings outside the agenda. I did not broker business with the government. I did not receive money or any advantage”, said Flávio.

Vorcaro paid R$61 million to finance the film, information revealed by Intercept Brasil and confirmed by Sheet.

As revealed by Intercept, Flávio stated in a message sent on September 8 last year to Vorcaro: “I’m embarrassed to keep demanding you, it’s at a very decisive moment in the film. And there’s a lot left behind, and everyone is tense and I’m worried here about the opposite effect of what we dreamed of for the film, right?”

The messages were sent five days after the Central Bank by BRB (Banco Regional de Brasília). Liquidation would only come in November, together with Vorcaro’s first arrest, which took place on November 17th.

On November 16, according to the Intercept, Flávio sent another message to Vorcaro saying: “Brother, I am and will always be with you, there’s no such thing as half a conversation between us. I just need you to give me some light! Abs!”.
