Washington – The head of the US Border Protection Agency, Michael Banks, has unexpectedly resigned. The US Border Patrol did not give a reason for the move on Thursday. Banks did not immediately respond to a request for comment. His departure is part of a series of personnel changes in the immigration authorities under US President Donald Trump in recent months.
