Former federal deputy says that “the story doesn’t hold water and is crude”; PF investigates suspicion of transfer
The former federal deputy (PL-SP) used his profile on X, on Thursday (May 14, 2026), to receive money of founder of , via investment fund. Eduardo stated that his “migratory status would not allow” receiving the money. VORCARO MONEY
Flávio declared to GloboNews on Thursday (May 14th) that the Daniel Vorcaro’s financial transfers were entirely allocated to the film, through his brother’s lawyer’s fund.
The senator said that there was no donation or favor, but an investment with expected returns. He stated that Vorcaro “He’s not a lazy banker, he’s a film investor.”
According to the senator, the film is a “mega Hollywood production”with cutting-edge technology, designed as a tribute to his father, whom he described as “victim of persecution” e “honest”. He stated that the initiative was a “dream” which justified the search for investors.
Flávio declared that he had not disclosed this contact with Vorcaro because there was “confidentiality clause in the film contract”which prevented him from revealing details previously. He also said that the founder of Master breached the agreement and that other investors took over the contribution, ending the relationship.
According to o Intercept Brasil, Flavio negotiated, at the beginning of 2025, the payment of US$24 million (the equivalent of R$134 million according to the exchange rate at the time) with Vorcaro.
WhatsApp conversation records and indicate that Vorcaro committed to transferring the money in 14 installments. But only US$10.6 million (the equivalent of R$61 million according to the exchange rate at the time) was paid from February to May 2025.
