The Basic Sanitation Company of the State of São Paulo (Sabesp) decided to temporarily halt all works being carried out in streets and public spaces that could directly interfere with the public gas system networks. According to the company, initially the stoppage will be for a period of 15 days.

According to Sabesp, the measure expands the scope of the suspension, which was previously restricted to interventionss carried out using a non-destructive method.
