Former deputy mocked investigation that seeks to discover whether there is a relationship between him and the purchase of a house made by an investment fund
The former federal deputy (PL-SP) , this Sunday (May 17, 2026), on his X account, a video in which he denies a possible financial and patrimonial connection between him, his lawyer and a investment that purchased a property in the United States.
According to the journalist from Folha de S.Paulo, the North American private fund Mercury Legacy Trust bought a house in Arlington, for US$753,500 (R$3.8 million), in Texas, the same state in which the former congressman lives.
According to Bergamo, the fund would be linked to Paulo Calixto, Eduardo’s lawyer. Calixto is also an administrator of Havengate Development Fundwhich received part of the R$61 million paid by the founder of Banco Master, Daniel Vorcaro, to biopic of (PL), .
In the video, Eduardo states that the events are not related. “The fund is one, the trust is another. They are trying to push the envelope. They still say: ‘in a house in the same state where Eduardo Bolsonaro lives’. Now I am responsible for all real estate transactions in Texas, is that right? The former deputy also said that the attempt to relate the transactions is an excuse to “to take advantage and assassinate Flávio’s reputation in a drip”.

Now, the investigates a possible relationship between the destination of resources transferred to the Havengate by Vorcaro.
