In yet another front to speed up the processes of the , the Ministry of decided to increase the bonus paid to CRPS (Social Security Appeals Council) counselors.
They are the ones who judge the resources of . The appeal goes directly to the council, made up of representatives of workers, employers and the government.
Now, they will receive R$97 per case analyzed. Previously, they received just over R$80. In total, 869 people are part of the CRPS, 620 of whom are counselors.
The measure, determined by the Minister of Social Security, aims to reduce another queue that has given the agency a headache, that of resources. Today, more than 272 thousand policyholders are waiting for an analysis from the agency. In 2023, there were more than 500 thousand.
The queue was already much longer, but it is still long and the government has set a goal this year to reduce this wait at the agency.
Furthermore, the government keeps its promise until October this year, the month of the elections. The president (PT) has already promised to clear the queue, but has failed. Today,
