Vienna – Two children aged four and six had to be resuscitated on Monday because of a house fire on Effingergasse in Vienna-Ottakring. As the Vienna professional rescue service reported to the APA, both suffered cardiac arrest – possibly the result of smoke poisoning. The younger child was taken to a hospital by helicopter, the older child was taken to a hospital by ambulance, both were said to be in critical condition.
