Are the Ukrainian mass attacks on Russia a game changer?


Recent Ukrainian drone strikes on targets right in the Russian capital have brought Russia’s war against Ukraine straight to Moscow. They made the war visible to the Russian population. They exposed Russian anti-aircraft defenses. The Kremlin walls surrounding the Russian regime’s propaganda myth of a special operation limited to Ukraine are now rubble. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke of an “absolutely fair response” to Russian attacks. But is all of this more than just symbolism? So far this year, the Russian army has achieved next to nothing. Recently, Russia has lost more net territory than it has gained – but with horrendous losses. Is Russia’s war against Ukraine at a turning point?
