Vienna – The chairman of the Military Service Commission, Erwin Hameseder, continues to insist on an agreement to extend compulsory military service. He explained to the newspaper that he wanted to be patient “until the end of May or the beginning of June.” Delivery man (Tuesday edition). Hameseder recently announced a protest from himself and other commission members if the ÖVP, SPÖ and Neos government agreed neither on an extension nor on a referendum.
