Flávio plans to go to Marches for Jesus in Rio and SP – 05/19/2026 – Panel

Amid the turbulence in his presidential pre-campaign, the senator () intends to strengthen ties with the segment, historically part of the conservative support base in Brazil.

He plans to participate in two major events scheduled for the coming weeks: the one in Rio de Janeiro, on May 23rd, and its equivalent in São Paulo, scheduled for June 4th.

Both usually bring together thousands of people. Organizers of the São Paulo version, the larger of the two, mention an audience of 2 million faithful, although the number is difficult to measure precisely.

The events are promoted by the Renascer em Cristo church and attract pastors from different denominations and political leaders. In previous years, President Lula was represented by minister Jorge Messias, from the Attorney General’s Office, who is evangelical.

By attending the marches, Flávio also seeks to give an air of normality to his campaign, hoping that the
