Austria’s ice hockey team continued its successful run at the World Cup in Switzerland and started a World Cup tournament with three wins for the first time. The ÖEHV selection defeated Latvia 3-1 (0-0, 1-0, 2-1) on Tuesday and is therefore fully in the race for the quarter-finals. World Cup debutant Tim Harnisch (28th), Benjamin Nissner (45th/PP) and Vinzenz Rohrer (60th/EN) ensured that the red-white-red festival continued in Zurich.
