In the request, parliamentarians defend the importance of investigating whether there are links between funeral service concessionaires in the capital of São Paulo, contracted by management (), and Banco Master.
The case came to light in a lawsuit in the STF (Supreme Federal Court) challenging the privatization of the funeral service. In it, ,’s brother-in-law, served as an advisor to the Cortel concessionaire, between 2022 and 2025.

The CPI, according to state deputy Paula da Bancada Feminista (PSOL), should also investigate how the city halls of Cajamar, Santa Rita d’Oeste, Santo Antônio de Posse, Araras and São Roque maintained financial operations with Vorcaro’s bank.
