Arsenal became English champions for the first time in 22 years and the players’ reaction to the final whistle of the game between Manchester City and Bournemouth quickly became viral on social media.
The London team mathematically won the Premier League after Manchester City’s 1-1 draw, a result that confirmed the title without Arsenal needing to enter the field.
Faced with the possibility of celebrating in advance, the players gathered at the training center to watch the decisive match together. The atmosphere was extremely tense until the final whistle.
As soon as the referee ended the match, celebrations erupted. Shouting, hugs, jumping and a lot of emotion marked the celebration of the players and the coaching staff, who ended a streak of more than two decades without winning the English championship.
