After criticism, António Leal e Silva leaves a 'message': “Don't talk about people's character…”

António Leal e Silva was confronted with comments about him on the program ‘Passadeira Vermelha’ and decided to speak out.

The commentator of the program ‘V+Fama’, Filipa Torrinha Nunes and David Motta, who commented on their statements about influencer Rebeca Caldeira’s outburst and lamented the situation.

Through his Instagram account, Antonio Leal e Silva published a video and began by clarifying that he does not intend to be “famous”, as was said on the program.

Afterwards, and faced with criticism of his speech, the commentator clarified: “I was asked to talk about a topic that was about a girl, who, because she thought she was famous, went to therapy. Well, I just said that she wasn’t famous enough to need it, but if she needs it, I think it’s very good, I’ll do it myself”he began by saying.

António Leal e Silva then revealed that he suffers from “panic attacks” and that, therefore, he turns “to a psychologist”, but also “to a psychiatrist”, and then appears perplexed by the “hatred” that comes from his colleagues. “It really makes me feel like no one in management, how can people not see this hate speech, this gratuitous persecution of people who have never done any harm to them”he said.

The commentator once again regretted some of the comments he heard and left a ‘message’ for the commentators: “I’m there and I do the best I know how, and always politely and always without disrespecting anyone, humiliating anyone, or persecuting anyone (…) Don’t talk about people’s character without knowing them, it’s sad, it’s ugly! (…) Have some sense and leave people alone, thank you!”these.
