Attorney Roberto Livianu, president of Instituto Não Aceito (Inac), launches this Thursday (21) in Brasília the book “O Poder das Palavras” (published by Quartier Latin), which brings together articles published by him in press vehicles.
The texts, published in bodies such as SheetO Globo, O Estado de S. Paulo and Poder360, address topics linked to democracy, public ethics, combating corruption and citizenship.
The work also features notes from journalist Moacir Assunção on the impact of the texts on the public debate, as well as prefaces written by former STJ minister Joaquim Falcão, former Minister of Justice Miguel Reale Jr. and USP communications professor Eugênio Bucci.
The event will feature a debate on “Corruption in contemporary Brazil”, bringing together journalists Eliane Cantanhêde, from O Estado de S. Paulo, and Guilherme Waltenberg, from Poder360, as well as lawyer and writer Max Telesca.
The launch takes place at the headquarters of the National Writers Association (AN), in Block F, Ed. Escritor Almeida Fischer, Asa Sul, from 7pm.
