And the President of the Jewish Community in Austria, Oskar Deutsch: “This is not Israel! This is the opposite of what Israel stands for as a Jewish-influenced liberal democracy,” writes Deutsch, adding that the minister should “leave the government today.” The question is whether even Ben-Gvir’s resignation would fundamentally change anything. Israel’s image is damaged, especially among young people around the world.
