  • The key to success are well-thought-out zones with light furniture, natural materials and atmospheric lighting that create a unique atmosphere.
  • Discover how the Scandinavian outdoor style creates an intimate “home garden” space and create unforgettable memories surrounded by greenery.

A wedding in the garden? Freedom in designed zones

This direction fits perfectly into the popularity of the slow wedding trend. This is an approach to organizing a wedding and a wedding reception that moves away from excess, pressure and rigid patterns. The focus is on guests’ comfort, closeness to nature and space that allows you to celebrate relationships. That’s why gardens – private or arranged for a party – become one of the most desirable wedding settings in the June-September season.

The slow wedding trend has changed the way we think about the reception schedule. Young couples are increasingly moving away from a rigid wedding plan in favor of a relaxed scenario in which guests can naturally move between different zones of the garden. This also affects the selection of equipment – instead of heavy, uniform arrangements, lighter garden furniture, additional tables or mobile elements of equipment that can be easily adapted to the course of the party work better. There is also greater interest in multifunctional solutions that allow the same space to play different roles within a dozen or so hours

Lighting and textiles that create the mood

Contemporary garden weddings are also distinguished by the conscious use of materials and textures. Wood, braids, linen and raw fabrics become an extension of the experience of nature.

Consistency in building the mood is equally important: from the way you choose textiles, through lighting and details that complete the whole. For example, light fabrics used on tables and seats naturally blend the furniture with the surroundings. Lighting works similarly – in a well-planned garden, the light of lamps, strings of light or lanterns separates zones and ensures comfortable celebrations after dusk and creates a unique atmosphere.

Scandinavian outdoor style is the key to intimacy

When arranging garden weddings, elements that build a sense of privacy are also important. Young couples are moving away from classic, rigidly designated wedding hall layouts in favor of spaces inspired by the Scandinavian outdoor lifestyle. In practice, this means interest in pergolas or garden pavilions.

Nowadays, in outdoor weddings, it is very important to create the atmosphere of a “home garden”, not an event space. Therefore, solutions that visually warm up the arrangement work well – wooden or technorattan furniture in light colors, pillows and textiles in shades of ecru, beige or olive green, as well as accessories such as lanterns, solar lamps or outdoor carpets. Increasingly, couples also decide to use pergolas or pavilions as the central point of the reception, a place for a lounge area or a background for the ceremony.
