Another 64 files with videos, photographs and reports of strange encounters with orange spheres, objects described as “fireflies” and “snowflakes”. They are there.
The Pentagon on Friday released a new set of 64 files related to UFOs, or UAPs, revealing a second wave of records that includes a first-hand account from 2025 from a Secret Service officer about an experience that left him “practically speechless“.
The files, whose public release was Donald Trump Through an executive order earlier this year, they can be on a Pentagon website dedicated to UFOs.
This Friday’s vacancy includes six PDF files, seven audio files and 51 video files. The videos show images of UAPsor “unidentified anomalous phenomena”, as “UFOs” captured from military aircraft are now called.
Each clip is accompanied by a detailed description, note a. The release comes two weeks after the Pentagon released the first group of .
These files included declassified pages from FBI files about UFOs, reports of strange encounters by military pilots, diplomatic cables about incidents that occurred around the world, and photographs taken during NASA’s Apollo missions.
What do the new files contain?
The 51 videos included in the second release are of the type grainy images of infrared images captured by military cameras and sensors, which have become ffriends over the last few years.
In the description accompanying the videos, the Pentagon states that the images were requested by members of Congress in March.
The videos were located by the All Domain Anomaly Resolution Office, AARO, the military body responsible for investigating UAP encounters.
The Pentagon points out that “many of these materials do not have a proven chain of custody”, that is, nIt is not possible to ascertain whose hands it passed through.and that the descriptions indicate when and where they were probably captured.
One that deserves particular attention appears to show the moment when a media incident occurred over Lake Huron in 2023 that occurred following the crossing of the USA by a spy balloon Chinese, generating a climate of growing alarm around UAPs.
Later reports indicated that the object could have been a balloon operated by a group of amateur enthusiasts.
Many of the videos capture encounters that took place in the United States Central Command area between 2018 and 2023, including over the Persian Gulf. A video from 2022, with no location indicated, shows multiple spherical objects entering and exiting water in the vicinity of a submarine.
Documents include Historical reports of UFO sightingsa report on Soviet espionage activities, and Department of Energy files on UFO communications, including one from PANTEX, a strategically important nuclear facility.
O most impressive document is the report of a “senior intelligence officer”, currently in officewho described in detail his experience investigating UFO sightings in late 2025 aboard a military helicopter.
The officer wrote that he and the crew had “a series of meetings close with UAPs lasting more than one hour” while investigating previous sightings.
“In the distance we saw countless orange colored spheres moving in all directions, with the mountain as a backdrop. The phenomenon lasted several minutes before dissipating,” the official wrote.
“The pilots and I, with the naked eye, we observe two large spheres which lit up side by side, close to the helicopter — motionless and slightly above the rotor disc, to our right. They were oval in shape, orange with a white or yellow center, and emitted light in all directions,” says the officer, who claims that he and the crew “were practically speechless after these observations“.
Audio files include recordings of NASA astronauts during the Apollo and Mercury missions, with reports of observations made in space, including objects described as “fireflies” and “snowflakes”“.
The Pentagon reports that NASA “subsequently concluded that the ‘fireflies’ are attributable to frozen condensation that separates from the ship’s body space. The white and greenish appearance of this phenomenon results from the reflection of sunlight on frozen condensation.”
