Pope Leo XIV entertains children by joining the “six seven” trend in Italy

O Pope Leo XIV entertained a group of children by doing the movements of the “six seven” trend (“six seven”, in Portuguese) while traveling around the city of Acerra, in Italy, during a visit to the region. The pontiff waved to the public, while traveling inside the popemobile, and joked with the public.

This is not the first time that Ao has made the trend move. Last Saturday (16), he also interacted with children, during a mass in the Hall of Blessings, located in the Apostolic Palace of the Vatican.

The game consists of turning the palms of the hands upwards and shaking them alternately. There is no certain origin for the use of the term and the trend that follows, especially Instagram and TikTok. Children of the Alpha generation have fun appearing in this sequence, for example, in the number of pages in a book or when the subject is break time.

This is a “nonsense” joke that children use to feel a part of the school. The teacher Gail Fairhurstfrom the University of Cincinnati, says that “for them, this becomes a language game that, it seems, only people in their group know how to play.”
