The Government opened a tender worth R$ 18.1, for a period of 15 months, to hire a company to provide corporate communication services.
The value, however, is a ceiling, and must be closed at a lower value. According to the Department of Social Communication, the discount in cases of this type is usually 30% to 40%, which can take the value to something close to R$11 million.
The contract will have an initial duration of five years, and, according to the new bidding law, it can be renewed for up to ten years. The envelope with proposals will be opened on July 7th.
The current contract, signed in 2021 and valid until October this year, is R$10.9 million for a period of 15 months.
The contract provides for the provision of services related to press support.
In addition to this service, government management last year. This contract costs the public coffers R$19 million every 15 months.
According to the government, the two agreements are different and complementary. “The contract for the provision of digital communication services provides for the management and production of digital communication content for the State government’s official profiles, among other services, such as the production of hotsites”, says the government.
